A pair of late 18th century porcelain ice bottle coolers by the Doccia porcelain factory, finely decorated in puce camaïeu with classical ruins in Italianate landscapes on a white ground, between blue and gilt borders, with scrollwork handles painted with pale blue flowers, the lids similarly decorated.

The Doccia porcelain factory was founded by Marchese Carlo Ginori in 1735 near his villa at Doccia just outside Florence.
