A fine quality Adam period satinwood and marquetry tea table

A fine George III Adam period satinwood and marquetry semi-elliptical tea table, the top inlaid with neo-classical decoration including husks and anthemion, with a central radiating fan motif and rosewood crossbanding, opening to reveal a circular top inlaid in a similar fashion when closed, with marquetry in various different woods against a beautiful satinwood ground, the frieze decorated with floral sprays with fine stringing in ebony, each tapering leg headed by a delicate inlaid patera, resting on raised block foot.
